Kevin the Flapper
Kevin the little dog was overjoyed when his catering company, Amaro PDX, was hired to bartend a 1920's themed fundraiser for a Montessori school in Beaverton. He couldn't wait to design cocktails inspired by the era and serve them to the guests.
Kevin and his team got to work preparing for the big event. They researched classic cocktails from the 1920s, including the Gin Rickey, the Sidecar, and the Manhattan. They also experimented with their own twists on the classics, such as a grapefruit-infused Gin Rickey and a smoked maple bourbon Manhattan.
On the day of the event, Kevin arrived early to set up the bar. The event space was decorated with vintage photos and posters, and guests arrived in flapper dresses and suits, ready to party for a good cause. Kevin greeted each guest with a wag of his tail and a friendly lick, as he mingled through the crowd.
As the night progressed, the drinks flowed and the dance floor filled up. Kevin and his team were busy behind the bar, shaking and stirring cocktails to keep up with the demand. The guests loved the creative cocktails and the friendly, personable service that Kevin's team provided.
At the end of the night, the Montessori school had raised a significant amount of money for their programs, and the guests left with happy memories and full hearts. Kevin was exhausted, but he couldn't stop wagging his tail in satisfaction, knowing that he had helped make the night a success.
As Kevin packed up his bar equipment, he looked up at the night sky and let out a contented bark. He knew that he had found his calling as a little dog bartender, and he couldn't wait to see where his business, Amaro PDX, would take him next.
